No. Pepper-spray practice uses inert training spray. TASER students are not exposed to an electrical discharge or shock.
No. Launcher practice takes place in a controlled environment using training projectiles. Students are not exposed to chemical irritants and are not struck.
Students ages 16–17 may attend a less-lethal class with written permission from a parent or legal guardian. Students younger than 16 are not permitted.
Requirements vary by class. Training equipment is used for practical exercises. Private handgun students may use an available Glock 17 or bring their own handgun. Ammunition is not included.
